Press and Shear are delighted to announce that they have been appointed sole UK and Ireland agent for Italian Waterjet manufacturer, Waterjet Corporation

As a technology, waterjet cutting is developing faster than any other profiling machine, with pumps now available with 7000 bar, over 100,000 psi, it offers the flexibility to cut both materials and thicknesses that would be impossible on conventional machines such as punch presses, laser or plasma

All of the Waterjet Corporation machines are equipped with the world renowned KMT pump, available in a number of different sizes, KMT is responsible for many of the latest innovations in waterjet technology. In 2009 and 2010 Waterjet Corporation was awarded the accolade of being KMTs biggest OEM

In 2006 Waterjet Corporation signed a strategic agreement with MC Machinery System Inc., part of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation to supply machines under the Mitsubishi brand to the North American market, following the signing of this agreement over 200 have been delivered. All of the machines manufactured by Waterjet Corporation can be supplied with the Mitsubishi Electric 720M or 750M CNC controls

Classica – The Classica offers a range of fully equipped 3 axis machines with a cutting area from 1250mm x 1250mm up to 6000mm x 2000mm

Suprema – With machines available from 1250mm x 1250mm up to 6100 mm x 3050 mm the Suprema is a fully equipped, high-end 4 axis machine fitted with the patented I.T.C system, that corrects the taper, giving edge straightness and the highest cutting speeds thanks to 6200 bar KMT “PRO60” pump

Evolution – The Evolution X5 is a true 3D-5 axis machine. The angle and interpolation of the cutting head is controlled automatically, allowing the profiling of 3D parts. A lathe option is available, for tubes and pipes cutting
