Press & Shear are delighted to announce that we have been appointed sole UK and Ireland agents for the Danobat Groups range of sheet metal working machinery.

Danobat, who are part of the Mondragon group, are one of Europe’s largest machine tool manufacturers, the sheet metal machinery division offers a range of Punch Presses, Punch Shear and Punch Laser combination machines together with a range of fully automated bending machines.

The Punch Presses incorporate the latest innovation in E Technology, having no hydraulics and a programmable servo electric ram. One of the key advantages of the machine is the flexibility of the eccentric turret, with up to 43 stations both fixed and indexable plus optional indexable multi tools. Other features include brush tables, scrap conveyor and the latest generation Fagor CNC control. Models are available to process sheet sizes up to 1500mm x 6000mm.

The Punch/Shear combination offers all the advantages of the E technology punch but with the added benefit of the integrated right angle shear, once all the internal holes are punched the parts are then sheared and conveyored away from the machine, this eliminates the need to slit around each component giving both, a high quality edge finish plus increased sheet utilisation.

The Punch/Laser combination also utilises the E technology punch but in combination with the very latest generation of Fibre Laser. The Fibre laser offers many advantages over a conventional Co2 Laser, the key ones being lower power consumption and lower maintenance costs.

There are a variety of optional loading and unloading systems available for the full range of punching and combination machines.

Completing the range is the automatic panel bender. From a pre punched blank the machine can be programmed to automatically bend each edge of the sheet, in addition to the automatic bending operation the machine is equipped with automatic tool change and automatic loading and unloading, giving almost zero set up time.
